Industrial and Engineering Technologies Apprenticeships

Organizations across various business verticals rely on well-trained personnel to operate, understand, and maintain machinery and equipment for seamless operations.

Apprentices in Industrial and Engineering Technologies roles will gain classroom knowledge and specialized training for application in a variety of occupational industries and job roles. These roles are found in a number of enterprises from manufacturing facilities and schools to hospitals and government organizations. Upon completion of the program, participants will earn the outlined educational certificate or degree, along with any industry credentials and Department of Labor Certificate. Participants will gain mentored skills training along with networking soft skills for a solid resume of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities

Preliminary Work & Safety
- Learning the names and uses of the equipment using in the trade, such as kinds, size, and use of cable, wire, boxes conduits, and fittings, switches, receptacles, service switches, cutouts, etc.
Total Productive Maintenance
- Routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspection, in the hands of operation.
Breakdown
- Assisting journeyperson installing and Completion of the National Board of Fire Underwriters and special local regulations-proper size of wires, conduits etc.
Troubleshooting and Programmable Logic Controls
- Checking out trouble and making repairs under supervision of electrician
