Registrar's Office

The Registrar's Office also provides the following services for students: 

  • course registration

  • grade reports

  • official transcripts

  • enrollment verification

  • student loan deferments

  • applications for graduation

  • maintenance of student records  

The Registrar's Office also provides services for transcript evaluations, evaluations of military credit, evaluation of AP or CLEP credit, processing of course substitutions, academic progress monitoring and notification, verification of graduation requirements, graduation ceremony preparations, preparation of degrees, diplomas, and certification and determination of honors.

Enrollment Verification 

How to Obtain Your Student Enrollment Verification Certificate

To conveniently serve students around the clock, York Technical College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for verification of student enrollment status. You can obtain an official Enrollment Verification Certificate at any time via the Clearinghouse Web site at  www.studentclearinghouse.org.  

  1. Click on the Students tab.

  2. Click on Enrollment Verify, then click Credit Card Purchase. There is a $2.50 per certificate, which you can charge to your Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card.

  3. Print your Enrollment Verification Certificate. This Enrollment Verification Certificate can be presented to health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, etc., as official evidence of enrollment at York Technical College.

Grade Reports

Grade Reports may be viewed on Self Service.

You may also order a grade report from the Registrar's Office, but please note that grade reports are term specific and do not include all of your academic history. If you need a report of your academic history you will need to order a transcript.

Requests for Transcripts

Students who wish to have official copies of their transcripts may complete a transcript request by using one of the methods below. Please note that in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, transcript orders must be signed. Unsigned and faxed orders will not be processed.

Processing Time:  Transcript orders will be completed within three full workdays. More time may be necessary during peak periods such as graduation, registration, and final exams. Transcripts will not be issued to students who owe past-due funds to the college.

Walk-In - Students may complete a Transcript Request form at the Registrar's Office.

Mail-In - Students may complete a Transcript Request Form and mail it to: York Technical College, Attention: Registrar's Office, 452 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC  29730.  

On-line - Students may order transcripts via the internet 24/7 through Parchment, an online service. Unlimited transcripts can be ordered in one session using any major credit card. The fee for ordering online is  a $3.10 processing fee. Your credit card will only be charged after the order has been completed. Order updates will be emailed to you as your order progresses through each stage of processing, including when your transcript is mailed. Please check your email frequently for up-dates.
