Pursue Your Passion in Theater Production
The Theater Production program at York Tech offers a hands-on experience that combines the Fine Arts in Theater Production and the Digital Design Certificate. As a student, you'll learn the foundations and the process of theater production—from studying a well-written script to carrying out a smooth opening night. You'll tap into your creativity, empathy, and adaptability skills as you complete courses in areas such as stage management, directing, makeup, and other important areas of theater production that will help you produce a well-run play, show, or movie.
In addition to learning technical skills, you'll also receive training in graphic design using state-of-the-art programs and tools. That way, you'll be able to effectively market your future projects to garner an audience. By the time you complete the program, you'll have the credentials you need to continue working toward a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university, as well as to begin working in a variety of positions in the industry.
