York Technical College Announces New Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
York Technical College is excited to announce the appointment of Cassandra (Cassie) Verardi as Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. In this role, Verardi will lead initiatives in enrollment management, student success, and service excellence, focusing on enhancing student retention, recruitment, and program completion.

Verardi currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Support Services at York Technical College. She is a results-oriented professional with over ten years of proven experience in higher education administration. Through her work at York Technical College and other institutions, she has proven herself dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships, implementing innovative enrollment strategies, and ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for each student.

Verardi’s accolades include the NISOD Excellence Award and the "Ones to Watch" recognition by the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Before joining York Technical College, she held positions at The University of Akron, including Director of Student Success Services and ZipAssist (a “One-Stop Student Success Shop”), Assistant Director for The Akron Experience, and Admissions Counselor for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Verardi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Communication and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron.
