Big life decisions aren't always easy to make—especially when it comes to deciding where you'll attend college. And in deciding where you'll begin your learning journey, you'll need to consider important factors like cost and financial aid, programs, student resources, and more. Luckily at York Technical College, we're committed to helping make your decision as easy as possible. That's why we offer a variety of tours and information sessions that allow you to learn about what matters to you.
Additionally, our Open House sessions, held in October for Fall semester students, and in March for Spring semester students, are a great way to get acclimated to campus before making your final decision. You'll meet instructors, learn about our programs, and tour classrooms and facilities. You'll also enjoy delicious food and treats, and participate in exciting games to get to know your future peers and classmates.

Academic Program Spotlight Visit
York Technical College will be offering Academic Program Spotlight visits that focus on the specific divisions. These events will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the programs that interest you directly from faculty! We will be offering these events twice a semester with the following upcoming events:
September 27, 2024 – Business, Computer, Arts and Sciences Division and Heath and Human Services Division
Chester Center Campus Visit
Explore the Chester Center campus and everything that it has to offer. These tours will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the programs that are offered at the center.
Self-Guided Campus Visit
Explore campus on your own terms. Check in at the Welcome Center in Student Services (Building J) throughout the week Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (hours during summer months may vary). We provide a campus map, tour instructions, and guidelines so you can create your own campus experience. High school students that would like school excuses for visits must attend a tour Monday - Friday during these hours: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Group Campus Visit
This general campus tour is ideal for a group of high school students of 10 or more who are considering York Tech now or in the future. Group tours are scheduled according to request and availability. Group tours are usually reserved at the request of an official high school staff member. Expect to spend about two to three hours learning about the College, touring campus, and discovering academic and student support opportunities.

Transfer TECH Thursday Information Session
This information session is ideal for anyone that has attended another college previously and are considering York Tech. Expect to spend about two hours learning the incoming transfer process, and about all that York Tech has to offer.

Join our Enrollment Counselors to learn more about enrolling as a Dual Enrollment Student. Use your time in high school to earn college credits that will help jumpstart your future early.
