Career Counseling is available for students who are undecided or uncertain about their major. The PathwayU career assessment is free to students who want to explore how their interests, personality, and values align with certain majors and careers. A Career Counselor is available to interpret the results and help students decide on an educational and career path that is right for them.
Career Communities are an opportunity for new or returning students who are uncertain about choosing an academic major. Students can select undecided on their application and choose a career cluster in areas related to their interests, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Students in a career community will work with an advisor to plan their first-semester courses, providing an opportunity to explore majors before making a commitment.
PathwayU is an online career platform for guiding students in the discovery process. From identifying their purpose to exploring careers and choosing a major, PathwayU provides scientific insight into students’ interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences and identifies career paths that are statistically matched to their unique characteristics.
