The Masonry certificate prepares students for hands-on masonry work. Students gain necessary skills and knowledge in tool safety, blue print reading and specification, site layout and foundation principles, masonry tools and equipment, and the handling of mortar, bricks and blocks.

Students enrolled in any of these programs
are responsible for supplying their own hand tools. York Technical College has
established a partnership with many tool suppliers to allow students to purchase
