York Technical College Army ROTC

York Technical College offers eligible first‑time freshmen a guided introduction to the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) through a partnership with Winthrop University Army ROTC, the South Carolina Army National Guard, and the Greater Charlotte Consortium.

Students remain fully enrolled at York Technical College while completing their associate degree and participate in Military Science (MLSC) courses at Winthrop University. ROTC participation is designed to complement academic study, and no military commitment is required during the freshman year.
