Three Staff Members Recognized at SCTEA Conference

SCTEA Award Winners

On February 17, 2023, three members of York Technical College staff received awards at the South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) Conference in Myrtle Beach.

Congratulations to the following people:

Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management Lydia Hall was named a 2023 Administrator Educator of the Year.
Nursing Department Chair Claudine Jones was named a 2023 Faculty Educator of the Year.
Advisor and Retention Coordinator Alyssa Collins was named a 2023 Staff Educator of the Year.

We also want to congratulate Director of Faculty Development and Curriculum Specialist Krista Rinehart, who was nominated for the A. Wade Martin “Innovator of the Year” Award.

We are proud of our staff for the excellent work they have done in the past year and cannot wait to see what they bring to the table in the future.

The South Carolina Technical Education Association is a professional association of technical education personnel and others interested in post-secondary education. The purpose of SCTEA is to further the mission of the South Carolina Technical College System and the welfare of its members.
