Payment Plans
York Tech offers a convenient payment plan, administered by Nelnet Business Services, for students who pay out of pocket. Entering a payment plan is also required for students who register late and will begin classes before their financial aid is awarded.

Special Notes
- If you have been awarded financial aid, you must accept Financial Aid Awards prior to setting up a tuition payment plan in order to receive credit for aid.
- Books are not covered under the tuition payment plan.
- Tuition payment plan does not apply to Continuing Education classes or past due balances from prior terms.
Simple Steps to Enroll in the Payment Plan
Down payment is based on tuition cost.
- Log into Navigate (Username and Password).
- Click on "Resources" > Places > "Financial Aid & Payment Info" > "Payment Plan" or use the search bar to search for "Payment Plan."
- Click on the second link, “Nelnet Payment Plan.”
- Click on the enrollment link and proceed with on screen instructions.
Payment Methods
Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.
- Automatic bank payment (ACH)
- Monthly payments you authorize Nelnet to process directly from your financial institution.
- If paying by automatic bank payments, you will need the bank name, your account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check.
- Please do not enter your debit card number or use a bank deposit slip for this information.
- Credit/debit card
- Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card designee.
- If a credit/debit card is used, a convenience fee will be assessed with each payment.

$30 per semester enrollment fee (ACH & credit/debit card)

Other Important Nelnet Payment Information
- Please be advised that your classes will be held at the moment you receive your confirmation number upon completions of the Nelnet enrollment process.
- Enrolling into the payment plan secures your class schedule; however, you will not receive your official transcript or final grades until you have paid-in-full
- To view your Nelnet account after you have enrolled in the tuition payment plan, you may log into Navigate and click on the Nelnet link to access your payment plan and to make a manual payment.
- Please note- partial manual payments will not stop your account from being automatically drafted for the payment amount due for that month.
Nelnet e-Cashier Availability
Availability of e-Cashier is determined by York Technical College. Please be aware the College may elect not to have e-Cashier available during specific times and dates. Classes will be dropped for non-payment if students are not active and current on the payment plan by the College's payment deadline dates.
Adjustment or Terminate a Nelnet Payment Plan
Please do not assume your payment plan will be automatically adjusted or cancelled if financial aid is received, payments are made directly to the College, or a class is dropped or added. To make an adjustment, request a payment date change, or to terminate your Nelnet Payment Plan, you must email Maureen Gore at nbscancellations@yorktech.edu to request the change. Please include your full name, Student ID number, your telephone number, and a brief explanation for the change in your email. Changes or terminations must occur during business hours and at least three business days before the date of the scheduled draft.
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (EST). During the summer, Friday hours are 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
