York Technical College's Wintermester Returns

York Technical College is proud to announce that Wintermester, the popular four-week academic term that is offered online during winter break, is returning for the third year. The term allows students to enroll in online courses that run from December 14, 2020 through January 8, 2021.

“Wintermester is a wonderful way for York Tech students, as well as those from other colleges, to take courses safely online in order to catch up on credits or to get ahead,” said Stacey Moore, the College’s Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. “Most of the courses offered are transferable to four-year institutions, and the classes can be completed from the comfort of their homes.”

Like last year, Wintermester offers approximately 25 courses that are offered in a 100 % online format, providing students comfort, convenience, and cost-savings.

Wintermester courses are offered at the College’s regular tuition rates – that’s just $184 per credit hour for in-county tuition. Additionally, the College is waiving all fees (except inclusive access course material and testing fees) for Wintermester.

All college students are welcome to enroll in Wintermester. The deadline to register is Friday, December 11.
