Sharpen Your Skillset in Engineering & Technology
Whether you're looking to commit to a two-year program to earn your associate degree in Engineering Technology with the goal of completing your bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university after transferring, or you're ready to jump straight into practical career training to earn a certificate or credential for a trade, our instructors are eager to meet you where you are and help guide you in the direction of the path you want to take. In fact, many of them have years of experience under their belt in their respective teaching areas, and they truly know what it takes to pursue and maintain a career in engineering and technology.
In addition to the mentorships you'll establish with your instructors and the valuable information you'll learn in the classroom, you'll also graduate with real-world working experience to add to your resume. Many of the programs offered within the Division require a Work-Based Learning component, or an internship or apprenticeship at one of York Tech's partner companies, allowing you to practice what you've learned in the classroom in a professional setting. Even if your program doesn't require work-based learning, you can still take advantage of the opportunity to get your foot in the door at major businesses in your field and gain industry connections.
