    • Students considering Wintermester should be comfortable with technology, have access to wi-fi/internet, and can handle a very fast paced class.

    • Wintermester will require students to log-in and complete multiple assignments/work daily.

    • Seniors will not be able to audit Wintermester courses but remain eligible to do so according to College procedure for other Spring terms.

    Costs and Payment

Wintermester courses are offered at $531 each (this rate only applies to York County residents). For a detailed breakdown of tuition rates, click here.

    • Students who enroll in Wintermester must have completed and confirmed financial aid on their accounts, or enroll in the payment plan on or before December 14 or their classes will be dropped.

    • Students who are dropped from their Wintermester classes must pay in full to re-enroll on the day of registration on December 17 and 18. Students who are dropped must visit Enrollment Services (Registrar’s Office/Academic Records) to enroll and pay 50% down and enter into a payment plan (at the time of reinstatement) for the remaining balance.

    Financial Aid

    • Financial Aid will be generally available, however it depends on the individual student situation and status. Once you register, we will be able to confirm and determine what type of aid is available to you.

    • Additionally, YTC has scholarships available for students with a 2.0 or above that may be interested in Wintermester term. Students will be evaluated for the scholarships if they are in a Career or Technical program after registration. Awards will be posted based on registration status/credit hours. Any change in enrollment can result in a reduction of a financial aid award and balance due.

    • Generally, if a student has Spring financial aid available it can be utilized for Wintermester – but that is not a guarantee as every student situation is different. Please check Web Advisor after registration and your YTC email account for information. You may also visit Enrollment Services in Building J or contact us at 803-327-8008.
