As of March 4, masks will no longer be required at York Tech facilities. The College will continue to encourage social distancing, hand washing, and the use of hand sanitizers to lessen the risk of COVID transmission. Masks and sanitizers will remain available. The York Technical College Foundation Inc., welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors effective July 1, 2017. Lori Dominguez, Vernon Prosser, and Robert Hall will each serve a term of three years.

“York Technical College Foundation is thrilled to have these forward-thinking individuals on board,” expressed Nicki Nash, President of the York Technical College Foundation Board of Directors. “We know their expertise and leadership in our communities will bring new insight to the foundation board and help us better strategize to expand our reach and to exceed our goals.”

Dr. Lori Dominguez is the CEO of Dominguez and Rucker Family Dentistry in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Dominguez is a University of California, Los Angeles graduate, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University, College of Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association. A native of California, Dominguez currently resides in Fort Mill with her husband and three sons.



Vernon Prosser is the Superintendent of York School District One. He has previously held several positions in Spartanburg District 3, to include: Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations, Executive Director of Educational Support Services and Director of Facilities and Maintenance. Prosser received a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of South Carolina. He also earned his doctorate in vocational and technical education from Clemson University. He is an active member of the York Rotary Club and the Western York County Branch of the NAACP.  Prosser and his wife, Terri, have three children and reside in York.


Robert Hall serves as part of the management team at DAK Americas, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hall is a proud alumnus of York Tech with degrees in machine tool technology and mechanical engineering technology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Hall also earned master’s degrees from the University of Dallas and Michigan State University. Currently, Hall and his wife, Jan-Rae, reside in Fort Mill.
