Science Department offers general education coursework to support numerous
programs. Programs requiring science classes: University
Transfer, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Assisting, Nursing, Pre-PTA, Radiologic Tech,
Surgical Technology, Engineering Graphics, and Engineering Technologies.
The Environmental Science Certificate program provides training for entry-level jobs such as environmental, safety, and laboratory technicians.
There are no special
admission requirements for programs in Science.
To receive a degree or certificate, students must complete the required minimum credit hours with a minimum of a “C” average.
