  • Steps to Enrollment

The entire York Tech family is excited you are considering us as your pathway to the future. Below is an outline of the enrollment process, to be completed after you apply. If you need additional information,  the Enrollment Services team is ready to help you with any questions you may have along the way. We look forward to seeing you on our campus soon!

  • Send in Your Transcripts

In order to be accepted to the college, you will need to send us an official copy of your high school transcript, or your official GED score report. If your high school GPA was a 3.0 or higher, and you have graduated within the past five years, you will not be required to take the Accuplacer placement test. If you are a transfer student, you will need to submit an official copy of your college transcript. Please send them to:

  • Submit test scores or schedule placement test

In addition to your transcripts, you will need to submit SAT/ACT scores, or sign up to take the Accuplacer placement test on campus. Again, if your high school GPA was a 3.0 or higher, and you graduated within the past five years, you do not have to take the placement test. Accuplacer testing is open Monday - Saturday. Please refer to the Assessment Center section of the York Tech website for specific hours.

  • Apply for Financial Aid

Our Enrollment Services team is happy to help you understand your options when it comes to financing your college expenses. First, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov as it is used to determine your eligibility for all federal and some state aid. During your application you will need to enter York Tech's school code: 003996.

  • Connect with Us

A great opportunity for first time freshmen to connect with us is by attending a New Student Orientation (NSO) session. At this event  you will register for classes, take your student ID photo, and receive valuable information about college resources. Returning York Tech students, as well as transfer students, do not have to attend NSO, but will meet individually with a program advisor for course scheduling and planning.
