    York Technical College hosts a number of admissions events throughout the year so prospective students and their families can tour our facilities, meet faculty and enrollment services staff, and learn more about our educational programs, financial aid, and other important topics. Please feel free to attend as many events as you would like – the more information you have, the better decision you will be able to make about your future!

  • "Next Steps" Events

    These events are held throughout the year for students who have already applied to the college but have not registered for classes yet. You can: 

    • Choose a major
    • Complete the next steps in the enrollment process
    • Meet with a Financial Aid Counselor to find out options for paying for college
    • Register for classes

  • Discover YTC / Open Houses

    Discover YTC events are a great first step for prospective students. These are informal events, held throughout the year, where you can get information about York Tech’s academic programs and the steps to enrollment. In addition to Discover YTC events, which are held at the main campus in Rock Hill, open house events are great for the finalization of the enrollment process for applicants. These events are held on the main campus as well as our off campus centers in Chester and Indian Land.

  • YTC Connect

    YTC Connect events are usually held twice a year, in July and November. They’re your one-stop event to complete everything you need to enroll! Whether you are considering York Tech or have already applied, this event is the time to get it all done: 

    • Express admission to the College
    • Financial aid assistance
    • Register for classes
    • Students IDs
    • Parking decals
