President's Note
Dear Faculty and Staff:
I am very proud of our College's commitment to Professional
Development. Last year York Technical College allocated
$300,000 and numerous hours to ensure we remain leaders by
practicing what we preach. In pursuing Professional
Development, we take personal responsibility for improving our skills
and adding value to our core competency. So, engage your supervisor
to gain perspective and to share your own development goals. Be
open to ideas for improvement, and think critically about your role
in accomplishing our mission.
In order for our College to be all it can be and to reach the next level of success, we must all be growing personally and professionally. As we improve together and lead together we will make York Technical College the best place to learn, the best place to work, and the best partner for economic development. With that in mind, we continue this tradition of high expectations and firm support for continuous improvement by holding steady our Professional Development funding at $300,000 for this year.
