Instructional Development
The Instructional Development Office in the Center for Teaching & Learning
supports faculty in their efforts to provide quality instruction to
promote student success. The
Instructional Developer provides a variety of services that include:
1. Assistance with
course design and redesign for face-to-face and online courses.
2. Consultations with faculty considering teaching challenges and
ambitions.
3. Providing resources and tools to help instructors
excel in their teaching.
4. Class observations for feedback and
reflection.
5. Support and training for new and adjunct faculty.
Instructional Development offers a Faculty Resources web page with useful resources and links for instructors that is accessed from the York Technical College home page under Faculty & Staff. You can find information about college procedures, campus resources, tools for classroom management, and information on course planning and delivery.
Instructional Development collaborates with the Education Technology Center, Distance Learning, the Library, the Academic Coaching & Tutoring Center, and the Assessment Center to meet all of your teaching needs.
