Re: York Technical College Foundation Innovation Mini-Grant Program
The York Technical College Foundation, in conjunction with York Technical College leadership, announces funding the third cycle of the Innovation Mini-Grants Program. The grants are available to college faculty, staff, and student organizations working with a faculty or staff member.
The intent of the program is to: 1) provide financial support for projects that promote innovation and promote student success; and 2) provide recognition to faculty and staff members who demonstrate a commitment to student success through the development of innovative ideas and approaches in their area of expertise or teaching.
Multiple grants ranging up to $1,500 will be awarded. Awards will be made based upon the anticipated results and potential impact they have on student success. Applications are available at http://www.yorktech.com/foundation/Mini_Grant_Application_Form.doc and are due April 2, 2012. Our intent is to evaluate the applications and announce awards at the “End of Year Meeting” in May. Funding must be spent during the project cycle (July – June) awarded.
We are excited to be able to provide this opportunity for recognition and financial support to you and your students. We encourage you to consider this as a resource to help accomplish your goals as well to contribute to our continuing effort on promoting student success.
