Congratulations! You have completed your enrollment process to
York Technical College and have been admitted into your program of study. Your
final step is to attend New Student Orientation! For over 50 years, York Technical
College has educated thousands and helped them achieve their personal and
career goals. With nearly 80 programs of study to choose from—including degrees, diplomas, and certificates—you can prepare for dozens of great careers, and York Tech has one that’s right for you. Our flexible scheduling, supportive
campus environment, and exceptional value allow us to tailor a college
experience that meets your needs. We
look forward to seeing you on campus!
The purpose of the New Student Orientation program is to ensure that new students have a successful transition and integration into college life. This program promotes discussion among students, parents and family members, faculty, and staff on the expectations they should have for York Tech, and what York Tech expects of students. All NSOs are held on the main campus in Rock Hill.
To be eligible to attend an NSO, you should have already taken your Accuplacer test, or submitted you high school transcripts or ACT/SAT scores that exempt you from having to take a placement test. Please note, you will not be able to attend an orientation session until your transcript or scores have been received. Students are invited to attend an Orientation session once they meet admission requirements to the College. If you have questions regarding your eligibility to attend a session, please email email@example.com.
Please also remember that you must submit an official copy of your high school transcript or an official GED score report.
You should also activate your York Tech WebAdvisor account before the NSO. (Contact the YTC Help Desk at (803) 981-7111 if you experience technical difficulties)
